Riverford Field Kitchen Fresh & Dried Flower Arranging Workshop

Join our Head Gardener Penny Hemming as she shows you how to make beautiful flower arrangements in this hands-on workshop.

We don't believe in waste, using every last piece of every vegetable in our kitchen, and we treat our flowers with the same ethos, so this workhop focuses on fresh and dried flower arrangements.

The day will start with a coffee in the field kitchen and taking a look at all the flowers which adorn our walls which Penny has dried through the summer. You will then head outside to our Field Kitchen Garden to take a look at what has been growing.

Penny will guide you through how to cut flowers and will then give a demonstration on how to create a beautiful arrangement before you go outside to pick your own flowers which will feature in your creation. Penny will also give a talk on flower drying so that you can take some home to dry yourself and have your very own piece of Riverford on your wall at home.

The morning will be very relaxed with plenty of opportunity to ask Penny questions get advice on flowers or any other aspect of gardening.
