This Summer at House of Marbles, we have an array of exciting events and ways to get involved, with a wide range of reasons to visit us, including craft workshops, new glass workshops in Teign Valley Glass Studio and the popular Design-a-Marble competition! With no admission charge and complimentary parking, we're the perfect destination for those seeking something unique, come rain or shine.

Craft Workshops

Quilling
Join us for a practical, enjoyable crafting experience and take home a stunning, handmade quilling creation. It's the perfect way for craft lovers to explore and experiment with different techniques and develop their artistic skills.

Sand Art
This fun and interactive session allows children to create a beautiful piece of art using vibrant sands. It's the perfect way for young crafters to explore their imagination, experiment with colours, and develop their artistic skills. Choose from our rainbow or dinosaur designs. Whether they love bright, swirling colours or are crazy about dinosaurs, we've got them covered.

Mosaics
Throughout this fun Mosaic workshop, children will learn the basics of mosaic art, from selecting colourful tiles to arranging and assembling their designs. It's an excellent opportunity for children to explore their artistic side, enjoy a hands-on creative experience, and take home a beautiful piece of mosaic art to cherish.

Scratch Art
This Scratch Art Workshop is perfect for all young artists who love to create dazzling designs! This session will teach children how to transform simple black surfaces into vivid, colourful masterpieces using scratch art techniques.

Design a Marble Competition
Let your imagination run wild and bring your marble design to life! The most imaginative entries will be in with a chance to win a truly unique prize: the opportunity to have their design transformed into a real glass marble, handcrafted by the talented team at Teign Valley Glass Studio!

Road Directions

By Car
To reach House of Marbles from the A38 at Drumbridges roundabout, whether you're coming from Exeter or Plymouth, take the exit for the A382 towards Bovey Tracey. Follow the signs to Bovey Tracey, and House of Marbles will be on your left as you approach the town. The drive from the roundabout should take around 5 minutes, and be sure to look out for the brown tourist signs with our name on them.
