ACE have reunited with choreographer José Agudo to make an extraordinary dance piece.
TEN continues the legacy of A Thousand Shepherds, combining contemporary dance with an essence of Flamenco, Kathak and Martial Arts with ACE¹s inimitable Afro-fusion style.
Full of intense physical power and human fragility, TEN explores the concepts of moving away and leaving, looking at how and why people choose unimagined destinies over the lives they'd always thought they¹d live. Inspired by global migration, TEN is a visceral and exhilarating dance production centered around the relationship between two brothers.
A carefully chosen creative team brings together diverse experiences, worldly artistic vision and shared values.
In the same collaborative vein, music composition by Giuliano Modarelli layers emotive tribal vocals with evocative melodies into a dynamic soundscape created in collaboration with Beautiful Noise (Vincenzo Lamagna).
