Blackdown Hills AONB

The Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offers up an abundance of interesting sites and refreshing walks for you and your pooch to enjoy. With just a few simple rules such as keeping your pet on a short lead from the 1st of March until the 31st of July when on open access land, this area is ideal for letting your four legged friend get some exercise. East Devon AONB

Hugging the coastline of the Jurassic Coast and spreading inland, the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty provides many fantastic circular walking routes for you and your furry pal to explore. Beaches

Seaton Beach

If you’re looking to head to the coast with your dog, Seaton Beach is a shot car ride away from Colyton and not too far from Honiton. It's a great place to let your pet have a run around and quick swim. Lyme Regis Beaches

For those staying in Axminster or Colyton, it’s not too far to hop over into the neighbouring county of Dorset and head to Lyme Regis which has four great beaches to choose from. Church Cliff Beach, East Cliff Beach and Monmouth Beach are all dog friendly throughout the year and the town beach allows dogs from October through to April.

If you’re looking for somewhere you can enjoy a bite to eat or grab a well deserved pint with your dog in Honiton, The Otter Inn is somewhere you can head to.
