Family-friendly and environmentally driven, we offer both inside and outdoor seating. Eat and drink in, or ‘on the go’ whilst taking time to appreciate stunning views across The Bay. Relax and take a seat on our fantastic new deck to enjoy our all-day scrumptious homemade dishes lovingly prepared in our own kitchens, wrapped in sustainable and home-compostable packaging, served with a warm welcome from our friendly staff.

Our al-fresco award-winning environmentally friendly Broadsands Café boasts a gorgeous beach with views across the spectacular Bay and coastline offering dramatic coastal walks.   

Kick-start your day with the Venus Breakfast Burrito all-day breakfast of egg, bacon, hash brown, and sriracha sauce, served in a hot wrap.  Or a moreish bacon bap with a generous serving of three rashers of English dry-cured back-bacon. Making a welcome return is the Venus eggs Benedict and Vegedict - poached eggs on Venus thick sliced sourdough topped with Maille hollandaise sauce, with or without bacon. 

For a meatier option, our famous Venus organic Devon beef burger made to our own secret recipe makes delicious Classic and Bacon Cheese beefburgers.  Our delicious Venus-style ‘fish n chips’ washed down with a pint of local Bays Brewery beer makes it the perfect day out and we also offer a variety of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options including our tasty vegan sausage and tomato bap. 

Perfect for sunny days on the beach we make a range of wraps daily including free-range English Chicken Caesar with Venus’s own homemade dressing and prawn Marie Rose Sauce with plump king prawns.  Try the Venus falafel and hummus wrap, packed full of flavour, and new for the summer season, an authentic Asian-style ‘Bang Bang’ chicken wrap is on the menu.  

We serve a delightful range of homemade cakes and treats, and hot or cold drinks including bean coffee (decaf also available).  For die-hard tea drinkers, we’ll donate 5p to RSPB and other worthy causes for every cup of Venus tea purchased.  All hot cup drinks & lids are 100% home compostable, helping protect the environment.  On a hot day enjoy a cooling ice cream or ice lolly, with an extensive variety available including all the old favourites and brand new to Venus, Jude’s plant-based extra creamy and smooth plant-based soft Ice cream with no nasties. 

Dog friendly - We’re excited to launch our new canine menu developed for our much-loved four-legged customers. The range of appetising dog products offers a main course of three healthy chews from The Canine Menu Ltd. Fully digestible, sustainable, and naturally made from by-products of the meat industry, they are Individually wrapped in fully recyclable packaging, ensuring no single-use plastic. Serve up with Jude’s Dog ice-cream as a lick-smacking dessert for your pooch and they’ll be in doggy heaven. Packed with health benefits, it’s a real treat and the great news is that 5% of the sales go to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home!
