Situated about halfway between the shops and the seafront, Budleigh Salterton Tourist Information Office is a veritable Aladdin’s cave of information. The friendly staff will be only too happy to help you with any query, whatever it may concern.
One of the most useful services dispensed here is helping with accommodation enquiries and making bookings. They hold a vast amount of information on every type of accommodation from basic camp sites to luxury hotels, and will make bookings on your behalf in response to an instruction by post, e-mail and ‘phone, or even while you stand in the office!
Finding suitable places to eat can be difficult in a new area, never fear, yet more information can come your way with their free map of places to eat and drink.
Finally the information centre in Budleigh Salterton is able to assist you with tickets for top attractions such as Bicton Park and World of Country Life, hiring of a beach hut for a weekend or week, purchasing a parking permit for a week and tickets for various events happening throughout the year.
