Dartmoor Whisky Distillery is an independent distillery nestled in the heart of Devon, on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Launched in 2017 and guided by our Master Distiller, Frank McHardy, we take inspiration from the wild, rugged moorlands we call home to craft the finest English single malt whisky that encapsulates the true spirit of Dartmoor.

We are Devon’s first and only single malt whisky producer and pride ourselves on producing unique, excellent tasting whisky from every barrel.

Dartmoor Whisky Tasting Experience

Customers are welcomed to visit the distillery for one of our Whisky Tasting Experiences, available every Saturday 1pm.

Visit Devon's only whisky distillery, hear our story, learn how we make our single malt whisky from start to finish and taste our current expressions, individually aged in Ex-Bourbon, Bordeaux Red Wine and Oloroso Sherry casks. Pre-booking is essential and dates are filling up, so order your tickets (£15 per person) or purchase a Gift Voucher today.

Customer testimonial; "The distillery offers a very interesting and thorough tour, which introduces their founders, explains the beginnings of the distillery and gives a thorough explanation of the processes they use to make their finished product, from farming the grain all the way to the barrels and bottles. A very interesting event and presentation, as well as some samples to taste and smell at different steps of the distilling process. Great afternoon out and a very friendly business run by people who are clearly passionate about making a quality whisky.” - Tyler -
