The Kitchen provides an impressive back drop to any event, with views over The Donkey Sanctuary and the rolling hills of Devon to the sea. This new space projects a tranquil atmosphere enabling delegates to enjoy your event and relax as they network.

Perfectly situated to serve the whole of East Devon and West Dorset including Exeter, Axminster and Honiton, The Kitchen is located just a few minutes from Sidmouth and only 13 miles from Junction 30 of the M5.

Catering equally well for conferences, seminars, training and team building exercises for up to 100 delegates, The Kitchen can accommodate various layouts and room configurations. It can be booked for half a day (8.30am until 12.30pm or 1.00pm until 5.00pm), a full day (9.00pm until 5.00pm) or for an evening (from 5.30pm onwards). A range of equipment and technology can also be provided to suit any event, including staging, public address systems, lighting and display systems. Free Wifi access and on-site parking is included with all events.

In-house dining is provided by head chef, Chris Morris and his team who have all been recruited from some of the finest restaurants in Devon. Expect a menu of local and ethically sourced produce, including a delicious range of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. The Kitchen is also able to offer a selection of wines and other alcoholic beverages or arrange for a full bar and waiting staff.

Road Directions

The Donkey Sanctuary is just 30 minutes from the M5 junction 30 at Exeter on the A3052. Drive through Sidford and follow the brown tourist signs for The Donkey Sanctuary at the top of the hill. 

The A35 and the A30 also serve East Devon and the Jurassic Coast.
