South Devon’s Buckfast Abbey has announced its popular Christmas Wreath Workshops are back for 2022. Taking place over the course of two days this year due to high demand, the crafty and festive event will run from 11am – 1pm, on Thursday 24th and Friday 25th November at Buckfast Abbey’s beautiful Medieval Guest Hall.
Guided by expert Peter Hague, Head Groundsman at Buckfast Abbey, groups and individuals of all abilities will have the unique opportunity to learn how to design and assemble an elegant, aromatic Christmas wreath adorned with plenty of festive greenery and colourful seed heads.
All wreath-making materials will be supplied by Buckfast Abbey, and once complete, guests will be able to take their unique Christmas Wreath home with them in perfect timing for decorating their homes for Christmas.
Tickets are available to buy now online at www.buckfast.org.uk for £45 per person, which includes a delicious hot or cold lunch at Buckfast Abbey’s Grange Restaurant, where participants can enjoy spectacular views of Buckfast Abbey, its expansive grounds and the surrounding countryside.
