Following on from the success of our award-winning Rangers Academy programme, we are pleased to now also offer a 2-day opportunity focused solely on giving young people an insight into the careers on offer within zoos and conservation on Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th April 2025, or Thursday 10th and Friday 11th April.
Covering zookeeping, education, veterinary, grounds maintenance, marketing and more, we aim to show off all the routes you could take to working in one of the most enviable job locations there is. Our friendly education team will lead the days and facilitate practical tasks and workshops alongside our wider staff team.
This course is ideal for those who are interested in working with animals, but aren't sure exactly how they would like to do this yet. Each participant will receive a certificate and reference letter that can be used as evidence for college and university applications.
