Craft a beautiful bouquet!
Join us for an immersive workshop where you'll learn and craft paper wire seedheads. Using wire pliers and cutters, you will be taught the technique of hand-weaving wire to create a beautiful flower centrepiece to take home with you at the end of a session. Please note that due to the drying time, we will produce as many seed heads as possible within the given timeframe, and then refine the process to cover as many as possible.
Who is it for? ✨
The session is ideal for both beginners and those seeking to refine their artistic skills. This workshop is designed to transform you from a beginner to an expert, as you'll leave with a stunning flower creation. Whether you're looking to refine your wire sculpting skills or embark on a new creative craft, this event is designed to cater to everyone. Participants will have ample time to create their unique wire flower bouquet, so you can move at a steady pace that suits you.
What's Included
With this workshop, you will receive everything needed to create a magnificent flower bouquet:
~ All materials and tools required are provided on the day.
~ Tea, coffee, and cake included; please let us know of any allergies.
~ Detailed and knowledgeable guidance on creating a unique wire flower from Jane Clift.
~ A glass of Prosecco!
Meet Jane
Jane Clift lives in Alresford, Hampshire, where she creates three-dimensional sculptures that reflect on her time spent living in Devon. Largely self-taught, she draws inspiration from the River Exe, its marshes, and local wildlife. Each piece Jane creates is unique. Each sculpture begins with a single strand of wire, used to sketch the outline, which is then interlaced by hand to create the three-dimensional finished article. Her work can sometimes be abstract, but it is always recognisable.
