Our one-day Intro to Zoo Life course gives you an insight to behind the scenes of a zoo, and gives anyone thinking about a zoo career some top tips.

With a mixture of classroom workshops, animal encounters and behind the scene access, this course will be the perfect insight into Zoo life.

Open to anyone over 16 years old, this course will be run by our award-winning education team from 10am – 3pm and will have a maximum of 12 delegates to ensure they're part of something special.

Itinerary:

10 am – Arrival with tea and coffee
10:15 am – Zoo tour
11:15 am – Zoo careers workshop
11:45 am – Animal and wildlife conservation workshop
12 pm – Lunch (included)
1 pm – Animal health check training workshop and demonstration
1:30 pm – Bug and reptile handling
2:15 pm – Animal enrichment workshop
3 pm – End of course
You are welcome to stay and explore the zoo in your own time, until close.
